MAKING AUDITORY THAT, WHICH IS INVISIBLE
Founded in 2016, Brigantine Avenue Records provides professional music composition, audio/video recording, and publishing services within the continental United States.
In 2022 Brigantine Avenue Records expanded its scope to include Docu-Story production. Our first project entitled, ‘Women’s Suffrage – Elizabeth Cady Stanton (Viewpoint Narration)‘ was published in 2022 featuring a local historian and narrator.
Our next Docu-Story entitled, ‘Societal Psychosis vs The Science of Gender & Sexuality‘ is in production. Musical score written and orchestrated by Roberto Domino Basile. Additional Docu-Stories are planned for release in 2023-2025 … Currently targeted for the Brigantine Avenue Records YouTube channel.
Several musical works are also in production and will be released in the near future.
2024 Outlook – Rewrites!
The following previously published works are in the process of being re-orchestrated and re-harmonized by Roberto Domino Basile:
Atlantica, Silent Fire, Queen of Hearts, and others. The original publications will be removed from circulation in favor of their new commercial-grade edition. These new editions represent a new enhanced chapter of music composition for RDB and carry with them artifacts borne by an additional 5 years of study including stops at the University of Central Florida School of Performing Arts and ongoing study at Berklee College of Music.
Brigantine Avenue Records is committed to producing professionally directed musical works including (but not limited to) those that bring modern-day abuses of the environment, animals, marine-life, and people to the forefront of our thoughts, politics, and actions.
“The idea of killing defenseless, majestic game animals calling it ‘sport’ … harpooning whales in the open ocean or cutting the fins from live sharks and calling it a ‘just harvest’ is a warped manifestation of thought.
Our having the gift of life and freedom, by nature, establishes us as shepherds of this planet and its inhabitants.
How dare we act otherwise.” – Roberto Domino Basile
ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF ARTIST PERFORMANCE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Brigantine Avenue Records maintains a dedicated public commitment to ethical practices in every corner of its business practices. One of the many byproducts of that commitment is the proper acknowledgment of artists and their works. This includes the correct and conspicuous uttering and/or posting of artist names where appropriate (e.g., sheet music, public performances, etc.). The commitment extends to the proper licensing of copyrighted works as listed on our song licensing page.
To help encourage such transparency, detailed, individual contributions regarding musical works that Brigantine Avenue Records has allowed internal or external collaboration on has been captured and catalogued. Due to the complexity of the works (orchestration, lyrics, chord progressions, etc.), simply attributing names of the composers to a musical work does not allow for a definitive acknowledgement of the specific artistic contributions. The information therein provides an objective picture of ‘who contributed what’ to each musical work listed. Questions or comments concerning such contributions can be directed to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
COMMITMENT TO A CODE OF ETHICS & CORE VALUES
In it’s interaction with colleagues, customers and suppliers, Brigantine Avenue Records makes decisions without regard to race, ancestry, color, religion, national origin, marital status, veteran’s status, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age or disability that can be reasonably accommodated. In addition, all persons and entities who have a business relationship with Brigantine Avenue Records are responsible for ensuring that their working environment is free of any form of harassment, discrimination, violence, intimidation, or inappropriate behavior.
Moreover, Brigantine Avenue Records strongly supports those who confront exploitation and cruelty to animals.
In regards to the physical environment: Brigantine Avenue Records views climate change, resource scarcity, and biodiversity loss, and their associated impacts as major risks to the livelihoods of society at large, both currently and in the years to come. We support the transition to low carbon forms of energy generation and sustainable use of natural resources, as well as reducing the direct impacts of our operations.
